A new Columbia sports diner has set a grand opening. Here’s where and when
A new spot to watch your favorite teams and grab breakfast, drinks and more has set a grand opening in Columbia.
The Red Zone Sports Diner, located at 7500 Wilson Blvd., just north of Interstate 20, will have a grand opening at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 16, according to a news release from the city of Columbia. City Councilwoman Tina Herbert and other officials from the city and Richland County are expected to be on-hand for the opening.
The new restaurant is described in the release as “a one of a kind, high-energy gathering place where great food, sports culture, and community connection come together,” and a “unique destination where the excitement of the game meets a welcoming, family-friendly dining experience.”
The Red Zone Sports Diner will have a diverse menu and a full bar, the city release noted, and the restaurant will serve breakfast all day. The establishment is owned by healthcare professional and businesswoman Vanesia Davis Kelly.
The Red Zone Sports Diner will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 7 a.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, the city noted.
