Here are 9 Greenville restaurants offering special meals and deals for Valentine’s Day
If you’re looking for a great Valentine’s Day meal, Greenville has quite a few romantic spots, many of which are offering special deals.
Among those listed on various restaurant websites like Yelp, Open Table and Kidding Around Greenville are some fancy ones, like Between the Trees in the Grand Bohemian Hotel beside the Reedy River Falls and the not so much like Red Lobster.
As Greenville has grown into a foodie town, including a mention last month by NatGeo, the attention has been almost unending. It’s estimated there are now 200 restaurants in and around the city.
Here are a few offering specials or are particularly romantic spots.

3 W Washington St, Greenville
One reviewer called it “romantic, moody, and ideal if you want something different from the usual steakhouse scene.” Belgian-inspired restaurant with European classics.
And of course two that have long been in the limelight or just now coming into its own — Soby’s which ushered in the restaurant revolution and Scoundrels, a young restaurant getting a lot of attention including a Michelin star.
207 S. Main St.
Soby’s New South Cuisine – a 2025 Wine Spectator Grand Award winner and MICHELIN “American South” Guide recommended restaurant – considers itself “the quintessential gathering place.” Always on the menu, crab cakes Shrimp and Grits, fried green tomatoes, and crab cakes.
French restaurant created by Greenville native Joe Cash, who has worked in restaurants in New York City and Copenhagen, Denmark. They don’t take themselves too seriously though calling itself “a swanky journey through the heart of Paris, right here in downtown Greenville, SC.”
They serve escargot as well as a hamburger called Dirty Rotten Scoundrel, two patties (aged beef) with scoundrel sauce. Beef tartare — “a show in itself,” Esquire contributor Omar Mamoon wrote, and duck fat fries.
Then there is a nod to MaMamma, Cash’s grandmother, with triple stock Chocolate cake topped with a big dollop of vanilla bean crème fraîche.
