Search in South Carolina for child who has been missing for days ends

UPDATE: The search for Isis Yamileth Solis Rodas ended when she was safely located, the West Columbia Police Department said Sunday. Information about when and where the 12-year-old was found was not available.

A search is underway in South Carolina for a girl who has been missing for days.

Isis Yamileth Solis Rodas was reported missing Saturday by the West Columbia Police Department.

The 12-year-old’s family reported her missing Friday, police said in a news release.

Isis’ family said the girl was a runaway, according to the release.

There was no word about where Isis was when she was last seen, or if she was alone at that time. Information about why she left was not available.

Police did not say if foul play is suspected in her ongoing disappearance.

Police described Isis as a 5-foot-2, 90-pound girl who was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black Crocs and red sweatpants.
