A Midlands spot known for pizza, calzones and more has moved to a new location.

Tony’s Pizza Palace officially debuted its new space at 1217 Rose St. in Elgin on Feb. 18, as it noted on social media. The restaurant was formerly located a couple miles away at 2481 Main St.

“Wow! We are overwhelmed and humbled by all the love and support today,” Tony’s said in a Feb. 18 Facebook post, along with a photo showing a dining room full of customers on opening day.

The new location has a spacious, open floor plan, along with a full bar for beer, cocktails and more. There is a roll-up garage door on the west side of the building, leading to an outdoor patio, and there are numerous large televisions in the dining room for viewing sports and other programming.

The menu at Tony’s Pizza Palace is highlighted by, as the name suggests, a host of pizzas, including a number of specialty pies. That includes the pepperoni sizzler, which comes with pepperoni, capicola, banana peppers, and a cheddar and mozzarella cheese blend.

The restaurant also has calzones, burgers, grander sandwiches and more. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, per Google.
