Search for missing SC woman who relatives haven’t heard from for weeks

A search is underway for a missing South Carolina woman.

Candace Crawford was publicly reported missing Tuesday by the Columbia Police Department. The 38-year-old was reported missing by a relative on Feb 28, police said in a news release.

The relative said that Crawford has not been in touch with family members since Feb. 12, according to the release.

There was no word if Crawford was alone when she was last seen. Police did not say if foul play was suspected in Crawford’s disappearance.

Anyone who has seen Crawford, or has information about her, is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 888-CRIME-SC or submit an online tip.
