Here are 5 Columbia restaurants that will be open on Easter Day serving meals

Easter Sunday is just around the corner, which means it’s time to get ready for all the festivities the holiday has to offer, if you celebrate.

For many, the highlight of the holiday is the food. While some Columbia favorites take the day off, several local gems are keeping their doors open to serve up some of the best brunch and dinner dishes in the city.

If you’re looking to skip the kitchen cleanup this year, here are five Columbia restaurants open on Easter Sunday:

Columbia restaurants open for Easter

Toasty Hotspot at 2002 Green St A

You can celebrate Easter at the Toasty Hotspot, which will be open between 11 a.m. and 11:59 p.m.

Some of their most popular menu items include their breakfast bowls, pancake meals, omelettes, specialty grits, breakfast burritos and breakfast quesadillas.

The Five Points brunch spot also serves mimosas, margaritas and several other drinks.

SmallSUGAR at 709 Gervais St

SmallSUGAR, located on Gervais St., will be open for Easter between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The breakfast, brunch cafe’s most popular menu items include their signature SmallSUGAR breakfast, avocado tartine and turkey melt. They also have a delicious shakshouka, which is an egg and tomato-based breakfast dish.

Motor Supply Company Bistro at 920 Gervais St

On Easter, Motor Supply Company Bistro will be open between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., and 5 p.m. and 9 p.m.

They said they will offer specialty À la carte menu options on Sunday, but will not reveal the dishes until later.

Motor Supply Company Bistro’s popular menu items include their breakfast bowl, salmon salad, French toast and chimichanga.

The Melting Pot at 1410 Colonial Life Blvd W Suite 130

Not only will The Melting Pot be open for Easter, between 12 p.m. and 9 p.m., but they are also offering these specials:

  • Kids dine for $25
  • Bottomless mimosas for $24
  • Festive Easter drinks will be available

Halls Chophouse at 1221 Main St, Unit 150

Halls Chophouse will be open for Easter between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m.

The steakhouse is not offering any specials for the holiday, but some of their menu items include shrimp & grits and eggs Benedict for brunch, shrimp po-boys and steak & fries for lunch and dozens of steak options for dinner.
