West Columbia has the best buffet restaurant in the US, new ranking says. Here’s why it’s great
Buffet food sometimes has an unforgettably bad reputation across the country, due to concerns of food safety, freshness and quality. But a West Columbia buffet is changing consumers’ perception of the infamous dining scene, a new report says.
Since the pandemic, buffets have come back in style and now have a global market value of $700 billion, capitalizing on consumers’ hunger for big portions at an affordable expense, according to a report from BetUS.
All-you-can-eat restaurants are also seeing more popularity because of increased prices at traditional, menu-based restaurants.
BetUS revealed the highest-rated buffets in the country, looking at their Google reviews, meal and drink prices to determine the rankings.
Out of the thousands of buffets, Blossom Buffet was ranked the greatest in the country, and was the only buffet in South Carolina to rank in the top 10. Here’s what made it so special:

Blossom Buffet has over 3,000 Google reviews and has 4.5 stars. The buffet price for an adult dinner is $24, including tax, and it doesn’t cost extra to get a soft drink.
The Asian restaurant has over 70 dishes to choose from, including hibachi, steak, seafood, fried food and plenty of desserts.
