New high-tech ‘elevated’ mini golf is coming to this SC community. Here’s what that means
It’s mini golf but more.
The developer is calling it “elevated.”
Par Greenville will feature two 18-hole courses on three acres in Mauldin, a 12,000 square-foot facility with state-of-the-art golf simulators of world-famous courses, a restaurant, a full-service bar, 25-foot TV screens and fire pits.
Construction is to begin in June, the company said on its website. Completion is expected in early 2027.
It will be located on Butler Road at the Interstate 385 interchange and is a collaboration with the City of Mauldin and First Bank, according to a news release.
“We’re combining the nostalgia of mini golf with a modern, elevated environment that reflects the energy and growth of Greenville,” the company said.
The facility is not far from BridgeWay Station, an 80-acre urban village with apartments, offices, shopping, dining, lodging, and entertainment.
Par Greenville’s registered agent is Andrew Dettro, according to the South Carolina Department of State. He is the owner of 633 Development and a former principal with RealtyLink and previously worked in development for Publix and Kohl’s.
He says on LinkedIn that while at RealtyLink he developed over $250 million in real estate, including multi-family, industrial and retail.
Dettro could not be reached for comment.
