Search underway for missing South Carolina man, sheriff says
A search is underway for a missing South Carolina man.
Kristopher Robert Summerlin was reported missing Wednesday by the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. Summerlin’s family reported him missing to the sheriff’s office.
The 37-year-old Rembert resident was last seen at his Pisgah Road home, the sheriff’s office said in a news release. Information about when he was last seen was not available.
There was no word if Summerlin was alone when he was last seen. The sheriff’s office did not say if foul play was involved in his disappearance, or if Summerlin is considered to be in danger.
The sheriff’s office described Summerlin as a 6-foot-1, 220-pound man with brown hair and blue eyes.
Anyone who has seen the missing 37-year-old, or has information about him, is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 803-436-2000, CrimeStoppers at 888-CRIME-SC or submit an online tip.
