1. Sesquicentennial State Park Campground
Located in the outskirts of Columbia, the Sesquicentennial State Park Campground has 78 camping sites.
Each site is packed with sand or gravel and has individual water and electrical hookups. An additional 29 sites have 20/30/50 amp electric, 9 of which also have sewer.
Visitors can rent out pedal boats, canoes and kayaks, and explore the 30-acre lake within the park. The state park’s address is 9564 Two Notch Rd, Columbia.
2. Longleaf Campground - Congaree National Park
Longleaf Campground resides inside the Congaree National Park, and is a tent-only campground. Located in a mixed pine/hardwood upland forest, campsites are surrounded by pines and other trees.
Campsites are generally in shade for large parts of the day, and there is an open field in the middle of the campground that is available for use by campers throughout the day. This location offers campers excellent opportunities for observing wildlife such as birds, butterflies and the occasional southern fox squirrel.

3. Weston Lake Recreation Area

4. Dreher Island State Park Campground
The Dreher Island State Park has two lakefront camping areas that have scenic views and easy access to Lake Murray. There are 97 paved sites that can be used by both RVs and tents, while 15 sites are for tent campers only.
