A well-known trampoline park brand has closed one of its Midlands locations.

Flight Adventure Park, which has a number of trampoline and fun parks in the U.S., has closed the location at 741 Fashion Drive in the Sandhill area of northeast Columbia. As of Monday evening there were notes on its doors announcing its closure, and it was marked as “permanently closed” on Google.

“We’ve made the difficult decision to close our Sandhill location,” the letter on the fun park’s door read. “The community has given us so much — the birthday smiles, the weekend visits, the laughter and energy that filled this park every day. You made this place special, and we are grateful for every moment. We apologize for any inconvenience.”

The note encouraged customers to visit Flight Adventure Park’s sister facility in Irmo, which remains open. The Irmo location is at 1019 Broadstone Road.

Flight Adventure Park at Sandhill had trampolines, foam pits, laser tag, air slam basketball, rope ladders and more. It was located adjacent to the Village at Sandhill shopping area that is home to Belk, a Regal Cinemas theater, Adademy Sports + Outdoors and many other businesses.
