Popular Columbiana Centre mall has an ‘Exotic’ new store. Here’s what’s on offer
A new store for international snacks has debuted in a popular Columbia shopping mall.
Exotic Snack Guys, which has dozens of locations across the country, is now open in the Columbiana Centre mall in Columbia’s Harbison shopping district, as noted on a post from Exotic Snack Guys’ Facebook page.
“Exotic Snack Guys is NOW OPEN at Columbiana Centre!,” the company said on social media. “Come explore snacks, drinks, candies, and viral treats from 40+ countries all under one roof. From TikTok-famous finds to rare international favorites, we’ve got something for everyone!”
The snack shop is located in the central part of the mall, near the food court. It is situated in the storefront between Claire’s and Michael Kors.
Exotic Snack Guys has 90 locations across the U.S., per its Instagram page. Founded in Chicago in 2023, it has quickly spread to malls and other shopping hubs across the nation. On its website, the company says it believes “that tasting snacks from different cultures offers a window into the lives of people around the world.”
On its website, Exotic Snack Guys touts various international versions of well-known snack brands. For instance, they have Dubai chocolate Pepsi from Thailand, Lay’s cucumber chips from China, and Cherry Crush Dr. Pepper from the United Kingdom, among many other offerings.
The Columbiana Centre mall remains a well-known shopping hub, with a number of department stores, smaller shops, restaurants and other amenities. It is part of the larger Harbison commercial area northwest of downtown Columbia that is lined with big box stores, bars, eateries, hotels, movie theaters and more.
