A host of new businesses are planned for a busy corridor in a growing Midlands town.

The town of Chapin noted in a Monday Facebook post that a slate of restaurants and other businesses are in the works along the 500 block of Columbia Avenue. That’s about a mile east of Chapin High School and about a mile west of Interstate 26.

Upcoming businesses listed in the town of Chapin’s post included:

“These additions represent continued investment in our community and will bring even more dining, business, and service options for residents and visitors alike,” the town of Chapin said in its social media post. “As Chapin continues to grow, we’re committed to welcoming businesses that enhance the quality of life for our community while supporting our local economy.”

Opening dates for the various businesses were not announced.

The town’s post about the coming businesses drew a big reaction on Facebook, with more than 230 reactions, nearly 200 comments and more than 60 shares as of Tuesday morning.
