2 people die in early Saturday morning single-car crash in Columbia
Two people were killed in a single-car crash early Saturday morning in Columbia.
A car was traveling south in the 2900 block of Two Notch Road, near the intersection of West Beltline Boulevard, around 4 a.m. when it ran off the side of the road and hit a curb and a utility pole, according to the Columbia Police Department.
The car flipped and rolled across West Beltline and landed in a parking lot, police said.
Both occupants of the car were killed as a result, police said. No other information was immediately available.
Richland County Coroner Gary Watts has not yet released the identities of the two who died.
