Boil water advisory repealed for Crestwood, Southwood drives

From Staff Reports

A boil water advisory has been repealed for water customers located on Crestwood and Southwood drives, according to Columbia city officials.

Water customers in the area no longer have to boil their water before using to drink or cook. Following an intense flushing of the distribution system, bacteriological samples were collected and analyzed by the City of Columbia Water Works. The results of this sampling indicate that the system is safe to use.
