Richland County deputies to appear on ‘Cops’ TV show

The Richland County Sheriff’s Department will be featured on Spike TV’s hit show “Cops,” according to Sheriff Leon Lott

Entitled “Dead End Dash,” the episode will show the daily duties and routines of Richland County sheriff’s deputies and will give viewers a realistic sense of what it is like policing Richland County communities, Lott said.

Lott said the show is scheduled to air on Sept. 12 at 8 p.m.

The show is currently in its 28th season and has featured agencies across the nation, as well as international police agencies.
