If you go: Richland County to talk about widening Clemson, Atlas roads
Richland County officials are planning public input and information meetings for two upcoming road widening projects, at Clemson and Atlas roads.
The projects are part of the Richland County Transportation Penny Program, which uses revenue from a 1 percent sales tax to fund transportation, pedestrian, bicycle and greenway projects.
A meeting to present the Clemson Road widening project will be held Monday, Sept. 28, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the W.R. Rogers Adult Education Center, 750 Old Clemson Road.
A meeting to present the Atlas Road widening project will be held Thursday, Oct. 1, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the A.C. Jackson Wellness Center, 2508 Atlas Road.
