Rock Hill Outdoor Center hosts BMX World Cup Finals

The Novant Health BMX Supercross Track is hosting 200 pro elite cyclists and Olympic BMX hopefuls from more than 25 countries Friday and Saturday for the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup Finals.

The event is the final one in a global series which includes England, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Argentina, and it is the first time the event has been held on the east coast of the United States.

Athletes competed to win the series and to accumulate individual Olympic and country ranking points in hopes of reaching the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil.
