SCDOT officials say flood-related debris pickup resumes Monday

South Carolina Department of Transportation officials said contractors will continue flood-related debris pickup in Dorchester, Sumter, Lexington and Richland counties Monday.

Property owners are reminded to separate debris into categories such as large appliances, vegetation debris and electronics, officials said. Property owners are also reminded that not all of the debris will be picked up at the same time.

Officials said pickup will continue Monday in the following areas:

▪  Dorchester County: Debris pickup along Harrison in the Tranquil Estates neighborhood, moving to the Summerwood subdivision.

▪  Lexington County: Debris clean-up in the Pine Glen and Coldstream subdivisions. Also along Wilton Hill, Lockner and Chapel White roads.

▪  Richland County: Debris removal on in the Forest Acres area and in the Andrews Point area.

▪  Sumter County: Crews will be picking up in the Tudor Place area south of US 378, the Swan Lake area and Sassafras Drive.
