More Midlands roads reopen as flood repairs progress

The South Carolina Department of Transportation reports continued progress in repairing flood damaged roads in the Midlands.

Major thoroughfares, Decker Boulevard and Percival Road, are now open, said Andy Leaphart, SCDOT director of operations.

Also open now are Lorick Road, Friendly Woods, Lake Elizabeth Drive and Beckham Swamp Road.

Stamey Livestock Road in Sumter also opened today to traffic.
