Local water officials repeal boil water advisories for Walcott and Frasier streets and Chimney Swift Lane

Columbia and West Columbia water officials have repealed boil water advisories in two area of the Midlands.

The boil water advisories for the customers of Walcott and Frasier streets in Richland County and Chimney Swift Lane in West Columbia were lifted Friday.

After water line repairs and water quality testing, service has been restored
