Incumbent, 2 newcomers win Blythewood council races
Newcomers Malcolm Gordge and Larry Griffin joined incumbent Eddie Baughman as the choices of Blythewood voters for Town Council posts.
Voters also returned Mayor Michael Ross, who was unopposed
The three won contests in the Richland County community at the polls in outcomes announced late Tuesday.
Baughman and Gordge were the choices in a four-candidate field for two seats while Griffin won a match to fill a vacancy. Baughman and Gordge will serve four years while Griffin will serve two.
In nearby Arcadia Lakes, incumbent Linda Jackson and former councilman Michael Smith were unopposed for a pair of council posts.
