Corley Mill Road has been reopened to traffic
Lexington County Sheriff’s Department officials have announced several road closures Tuesday morning after overnight rains left standing water on many of the roads.
The road closures are as follows:
▪ Bagpipe and Quattlebaum roads
▪ Drawdebil and Long Branch roads
▪ Ramblin Road
▪ Leisure Lane at Piney Grove Road
▪ The 500 block of Foxfire Drive
▪ Milton Court at Whiteford
▪ The 300 block of Calks Ferry Road
Sheriff’s department officials urge any motorists planning on using these routes for their morning commute to allow themselves extra time to navigate around the flooded roadways.
If you approach a road with standing water on it, do not drive through it. Turn around and find an alternate route.
