Authorities believe Wofford student death to be suicide

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, SC Officials are investigating a death that occurred on the Wofford campus Sunday, according to Spartanburg County Coroner's Office Chief Investigator Randy Bogan.

The initial investigation has led authorities to believe the death was a suicide.

The Coroner's Office is working with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, City Police Department and Wofford Public Safety in the investigation.
