Deputies investigate shooting in St. Andrews

An argument gone wrong landed one man in the hospital with gunshot wounds.

Two men were arguing at a gas station on Broad River Road in the St. Andrews area when one pulled out a gun and shot the other multiple times about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, Richland County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Lt. Curtis Wilson said.

The victim went to Palmetto Health Richland for medical care, Wilson said. His injuries are not life-threatening.

Investigators have “significant leads,” Wilson said Wednesday.
