HOPE VIRTUAL 5K RUN will take place in the month of November as a virtual 5k. Participants can run, walk, cycle or use a treadmill at their own pace and participate. SHOOT FOR SECOND CHANCES SPORTING CLAYS CHARITY TOURNAMENT will be 1 p.m. today at Hermitagte Farms, 2362 Tickle Hill Road, Camden. The event is part of the Colonial Cup pre-race events. PALMETTO SERIES FOOD DRIVE: Clemson University and the University of South Carolina will compete by raising the most donations of non-perishable foods by Monday to benefit Harvest Hope Food Bank. SPIRIT OF TRUTH CHRISTIAN CHURCH is giving away water, canned goods and clothes for residents affected by the Oct. 4 flood. Items are available for pickup at the church, 4201 Abingdon Road, Mondays and Tuesdays between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and Wednesdays 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. through Dec. 31. Donations can also be dropped off at the church.
