Richland County coroner identifies teen killed on Wilson Boulevard

The Richland County Coroner’s Office has identified the 17-year-old who was killed while crossing the street in November.

Coroner Gary Watts said Jeffrey Daniel Hunter, of Columbia, died from complications of trauma associated with the collision.

Watts said the collision occurred on Nov. 10 at around 6 p.m. on Wilson Boulevard in Blythewood.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol will continue to investigate the incident.
