Update: Segment of Corley Mill Road in Lexington County reopens

A segment of Lexington County Road closed Thursday night because of a “possible breach in a low hazard dam” is open once again.

Corley Mill Road got clearance to reopen Sunday morning, after evaluations from the S.C. Department of Transportation and the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control, according to a news release.

Corley Mill Road had been closed from Millstream Road to the lower/bus entrance of River Bluff High School.

Corley Mill Road is a major thoroughfare in the county, offeringaccess to River Bluff High School.
