Parts of South Carolina expected to face frigid temperatures

Parts of South Carolina are expected to face frigid temperatures going into Monday.

Forecasters are calling for Monday lows in the upper 20’s for parts of the Upstate and Midlands. Highs could rebound to the low 50s.

A forecast by the National Weather Service’s Columbia office said that cold, dry air is expected to come to the area through Monday morning. Mostly clear skies are expected.

The temperature is expected to warm up by Thanksgiving.
