Overturned tractor trailer on S.C. 277 causing delays

An overturned tractor trailer on S.C. 277 is causing motorists a longer commute early Thursday morning.

Lance Cpl. David Jones of the South Carolina Highway Patrol said a tractor trailer overturned when it attempted to exit I-20 eastbound onto S.C. 277.

Emergency responders are on scene attempting to clear the wreckage, Jones said.

Motorists should plan alternate routes around the crash site and be on the lookout for first responders traveling to the scene.
