Neeses resident bought $100,000 Powerball ticket

A $100,000 Powerball ticket was sold to one of the 365 residents of Neeses, according to S.C. Education Lottery officials.

Officials said the ticket was purchased at the Piggly Wiggly store on Savannah Highway in Orangeburg County. Those that purchased a ticket are urged to check of the winning numbers: 14, 18, 19, 32 and 64 Powerball: 9.

Officials said instead of a $10,000 prize for matching four white-ball numbers and the red Powerball number with PowerPlay, the prize jumped to $50,000. Sine the player also purchased the PowerPlay for an additional $1, their $50,000 prized doubled when they selected the “2” multiplier.

The odds of matching four white-ball numbers and the red Powerball number are one in 913,129, officials said, and the odds of a two-times multiplier being selected are one in 1.79.

Officials said the player who has the winning ticket has 180 days from the day of the drawing to claim their prize.
