Richland County deputies search for larceny suspect

Richland County deputies are requesting the community’s assistance in locating a larceny suspect who stole a victim’s wallet at an IHOP.

Sheriff Leon Lott said that at 3:15 p.m. on Nov. 13, the victim left her wallet at the restaurant located in the 7700 block of Two Notch Road. When the victim returned to retrieve her wallet it was missing.

Surveillance video equipment shows a suspect taking the wallet from another female and exited the business in a maroon SUV, Lott said.

Lott said the suspect is described as a black female with short green hair. She was wearing an orange jacket, gray blouse and brown pants at the time of the incident.

The victim reported that the wallet contained $300 in merchandise and cash.
