Bicyclist killed in Orangeburg County crash

One person is dead after a vehicle and a bicycle collided on Toney-Bay Road in Orangeburg County at about 9 p.m. Sunday.

The bike rider was traveling south in the roadway and was struck by the vehicle, according to the S.C. Highway Patrol.

Vehicle driver Aaron Lambright, 38, was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

Highway Patrol continues to investigate.
