Richland County unveils new logo touting urban, rural assets

A colorful new logo highlighting Richland County’s urban and rural assets will be used to market county-sponsored events and projects and complement the county’s official seal.

The logo tips a hat to the county’s agricultural roots and celebrates its status as home of the state’s capital.

Touting the county’s “Uniquely Urban ... Uniquely Rural” tagline, the logo mixes muted shades of purple, blue, green, yellow and orange in a scene that includes images of the S.C. State House, a river, an office tower and a farm.
