Ronda Rousey keeps promise at Myrtle Beach Marine Corps Ball
Ronda Rousey keeps her promises, and she proved that in her visit to Myrtle Beach on Friday.
Likely still reeling from her stunning upset at the hands of Holly Holm in November, the UFC star kept her word to Lance Cpl. Jarrod Haschert, accompanying him to Marine Corps Ball held at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.
“I promised I would go. It's an honor to be asked,” said Rousey in an interview with TMZ.
Haschert asked Rousey in a 34-second video posted in August.
“I hope you take this in consideration because, if you do, you will truly be making my dream come true,” Haschert said in the video.
The request initially looked like a non-starter due to her training schedule, but when Rousey’s fight with Holly Holm was rescheduled to last month, she was free and clear. Check out the video from Haschert below.
