Renovations to close Richland Library’s Cooper branch for year

The Cooper branch library in Forest Acres will close in February for about a year for renovations, Richland County library officials said.

The branch at 5317 Trenholm Road is expected to reopen in spring 2017, officials said. Some services will be available in Forest Acres through the Learn Freely Bus.

Library patrons should select a different branch for pickup when putting books on hold online.

The library will provide regular updates.
