Lexington, SC, woman captures angel in the clouds

It was the time of day when Michaela Chewar’s 10-month-old daughter, Mia, was getting a little cranky.

Chewar thought some fresh air and a walk might do the trick to soothe her little one. On their second lap, something in the sky caught her eye and made her stop dead in her tracks.

Shadows in the clouds above her street appeared to form the shape of an angel.

“I felt like there was an angel looking down,” she said. “We have several in heaven that I’m sure are watching over us.”

Luckily, Chewar was able to reach for her phone and preserve the moment. She says she usually doesn’t worry about bringing her phone when she’s outside with her children, but Sunday she was so glad she did.

“I look to nature often and if you’re quiet enough and observant enough, there are blessings all around us.”
