Boil water advisory issued for Garners Ferry Road

A boil water advisory has been issued for water customers located along Garners Ferry Road, including Old Garners Ferry Road and Trotter Road.

Customers in 8100 to 8500 blocks of Garners Ferry Road, the 8100 block of Old Garners Ferry Road and the 2500 to 2700 blocks of Trotter Road are urged to vigorously boil their water for one minute prior to drinking or cooking.

The City of Columbia Water Works is repairing a sixteen-inch water line in conjunction with the repairs South Carolina Department of Transportation is performing on Caughmans Pond Bridge.
