Lexington police ask for help in collision that killed pedestrian

Lexington police are seeking the public’s help in the investigation of the fatal accident Wednesday that led to the death of pedestrian Ellie Jerome McLeod Jr. of Lexington.

McLeod was hit around 12:50 p.m. on the 500 block of Gibson Road in Lexington.

Any witnesses to the fatal vehicle-pedestrian collision is urged to step forward and contact Lexington Police Department Major Matt Davis at 803-359-6260.
