One morning, one mission: Fighting breast cancer

Rain didn’t dampen the spirits of the nearly 7,400 runners and walkers who took to the streets Saturday in downtown Columbia in the annual Walk for Life/Run for Life. More than $504,000 – and counting – had been raised to support local efforts in the fight against breast cancer. The event is presented by the Palmetto Health Foundation.
