Authorities are looking for a missing driver after a crash on the I-95 bridge over Lake Marion.
Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Sonny Collins said a vehicle crashed into the guardrail on the bridge Sunday evening. A few minutes later, another car struck the wrecked vehicle.
By the time troopers arrived, Collins told The Times and Democrat of Orangeburg that the driver of the first car couldn’t be found.
Collins said troopers aren’t sure if the driver ended up in the lake after the second wreck or left the scene before officers arrived. Collins said the driver hasn’t talked to family members since the collision.
