Fort Jackson to hold prescribed burn near Leesburg Road

Fort Jackson officials said the forestry branch will be conducting a prescribed burn Wednesday morning.

The burn will take place near Leesburg Road, which is west of Camp McCrady, and will consist of 179-acres, officials said.

Officials said the burn is expected to begin around 10:30 a.m.
