Sewage overflow reported near Cayce Riverwalk

A broken pressurized sewer pipe in Cayce caused a sewage water overflow near the Martin Marietta quarry and the Cayce Riverwalk, the city of Cayce reported Friday afternoon.

The overflow was discovered around 11 a.m.. Cayce City manager Rebecca Vance said in a news release that repairs are being made and should be completed in one to two weeks.
