Moffatt Street portion of West Columbia Riverwalk reopened
West Columbia city officials said the Moffatt Street portion of the West Columbia Riverwalk has been re-opened to the public after it was closed following the October floods.
Officials said city personnel have been working to clear the Riverwalk of debris and repair damages caused by the floods. So far, the amphitheater and nearby walkways have been re-opened.
The remaining closed portions of the Riverwalk include:
▪ 100 block of Sunset Boulevard to Gervais Street Bridge
▪ The southernmost portion of the park near the 800 block of Alexander Road
These sections will remain closed until further notice.
