Midlands people and achievements: Betsy Gray

Betsy Gray of the Sowell Gray law firm in Columbia is the 2016 recipient of the National Conference of Bar Presidents Fellows Award. The award, presented Friday at the group’s 2016 Midyear Meeting in San Diego, recognizes the accomplishments of a past president of a bar association who has demonstrated a continuing commitment to leadership, service, the work of the organized bar and the purposes of the conference. Gray is a past president of the South Carolina Bar, a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, the American Bar Foundation and the Litigation Counsel of America.
