Shooting shatters windows of home, Richland County deputies searching for suspects

Richland County deputies are investigating a shooting that occurred Tuesday evening after a woman reported bullets shattered her home’s windows.

Lt. Curtis Wilson, a department spokesman, said deputies responded to a shots-fired call in the 100 block of Elk Hill Road, a few streets away from Brickyard Road, at around 7:30 p.m.

When deputies arrived, Wilson said a victim told them she heard several shots near her home before her windows were shattered by the bullets. There were no injuries reported from the shooting.
