Columbia firefighters extinguish fire at FN Manufacturing plant

Columbia firefighters responded to a fire at the FN Manufacturing plant in Northeast Richland County early Monday morning.

Officials said firefighters responded to the plant, which is located in the 700 block of Old Clemson Road, after receiving reports of a fire just before 6:30 a.m. Officials said the fire is now under control.

The plant produces firearms for FN Herstal.
