SKIPP PEARSON’S JAZZ BASH AND LOVE FEST will be 5-8 p.m. Feb. 28 at The Big Apple, 1000 Hampton St. Event will feature a cash bar and jazz musicians Mark Rapp, Reggie Sullivan, Amos Hoffman, Tony Lee, Jonathan Lovett, Dustin Retzlaff, Skipp Pearson and others. SHARING GOD’S LOVE is seeking donations and volunteers, 147 Friarsgate Blvd., Irmo. Pantry needs include tea, coffee, jelly, baked beans, grits, sugar, flour and canned fruit. The Christian ministry is also seeking laundry detergent, shampoo, gently used clothes and household linens, especially king and queen sized sheets and blanket.
