Richland County deputies searching for burglary suspect

Richland County Sheriff’s Department officials are requesting the community’s assistance in locating a suspect they say is wanted for for burglary.

Sheriff Leon Lott said 24-year-old Victor Cornish allegedly broke into a residence in the 6500 block of Frost Avenue, near Waterford Drive, on Jan. 14.

Lott said Cornish is alleged to have broken into the home by kicking in the back door and then stealing a flat-screen TV, as well as the victim’s tablet.
