Families flock to Benedict College’s Harambee

Benedict College on Saturday hosted its annual Harambee Festival, one of the largest college-sponsored Harambee festivals in the nation. The family-driven event offered plenty of food, music, fun, art and live musical performances throughout the day. Harambee is an African tradition of community self-help events. The word means “all pull together” in Swahili.
